Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They let the site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you are signed in, so you do not have to provide it again on every page you open.

There are different types of cookies depending on who manages them (first-party or third-party), how long they remain (session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which last for a defined period) and what they are for (technical or necessary, preference, analytics or advertising). At Leonida Hub we use only first-party, technical or necessary cookies, as detailed below.

These are the only two cookies we use. Both are technical or necessary: without them the site cannot provide the service you expect.

Session / authentication cookie — Category: technical/necessary — Purpose: keep you securely signed in. It stores the access token (JWT) that identifies your session after you log in. It is marked as httpOnly (not accessible from the browser's JavaScript) and with the SameSite attribute, to reduce the risk of session theft and cross-site request forgery (CSRF). — Duration: session / short-lived. The access token is short-lived and is renewed via a refresh token; in practice the cookie stops being valid shortly after you log out or after a short period of inactivity.

Language preference cookie — Category: technical/necessary — Purpose: remember the language you have chosen (Spanish or English) so we can show you the site in that language on later visits without you having to select it again. — Duration: persistent, approximately 1 year.

The cookies we use are exclusively technical or strictly necessary. According to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) Guidance on the use of cookies and Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, cookies whose sole purpose is to enable communication or to provide a service expressly requested by the user (such as keeping you signed in or remembering your language preference) are exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent.

For this reason we do not display a cookie consent banner: we do not install any cookie that would require your authorisation. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional service and the performance of the service you request yourself by using the platform. If in the future we were to add non-exempt cookies (for example, analytics or advertising), we would first implement a consent mechanism in line with the applicable regulations and update this policy.

You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device from your browser settings. Each browser has its own procedure; check the help or privacy section of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or Opera for the specific steps.

Most browsers also let you browse in private or incognito mode, in which cookies are deleted when you close the window.

Please note that, since we use only necessary technical cookies, disabling or blocking them may prevent you from signing in or from having the site remember your language, and some features may stop working correctly.

We do not use third-party cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking purposes. We do not share your browsing information with advertising networks or analytics providers.

The only possible exception arises if you choose to sign in through a social login provider: in that case, and only if you voluntarily enable that option, the relevant provider may install the cookies strictly necessary to complete authentication through its own services, subject to its respective cookie and privacy policies. If you do not use social login, no third-party cookie is installed.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical, legal or operational changes to the site. When we do, we will update the last-updated date shown at the top.

We recommend reviewing this page periodically. If we introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for it clearly before installing them.
