Why is Rockstar hiding Boobie Ike? Not a sign of him in three trailers

This one has been bugging me. Boobie Ike is on the official site as one of the most powerful people in Vice City: owner of the Jack of Hearts club, real estate, a recording studio and, in his own words, "the drug money pay for it all." In An Extended Look, Jason and Lucia run an errand for him, and just saying his name gets them through the door.

And yet he hasn't shown up in a single trailer. Not Trailer 1, not Trailer 2, not the October 15 launch trailer. We only know him from the website art and from what other characters say about him. GameSpot noticed too (here).

The theories that keep coming up:

• He's the one who double-crosses Jason and Lucia, and Rockstar doesn't want to show too much.
• He's voiced by someone famous and the voice would give it away, like Stephen Root did with Brian.
• He pulls strings from the background and barely appears in the game.
• He's just not that important and we're overthinking it.

I lean towards the first one, since Rockstar tends to keep its villains for the game itself. But the voice idea isn't crazy either. What do you think? Has anyone spotted him somewhere we missed?

Everything above about his role in the story is speculation. The only official info is his profile on Rockstar's site.
