Lucia grew up in Liberty City: do you expect to see it, even briefly?

Lucia being from Liberty City has been in her official bio from day one, but LOVE's interview brought it back up. Writer Alexa D'Agostino says she wrote Lucia with her own mother in mind, an immigrant who grew up in Newark, "close to Lucia's hometown of Liberty City" (via iGrandTheftAuto).

It's the clearest nod GTA VI makes to the series' classic map. Liberty City is the city of GTA III and GTA IV, and here it's the place Lucia and her mom left behind before Leonida.

Rockstar hasn't said we'll set foot there, and all six confirmed regions are in Leonida. Still, it could show up plenty of ways without being playable: a flashback, a call from someone who stayed, a radio story, a licence plate.

Are references enough for you, or are you hoping for even one short mission in Liberty City? And if it shows up, GTA IV style or brought up to date?

Everything we know about her is in her lore page.
