That they have been friends since high school and went from shaking down local dealers to making money with spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. The company sums up their method in four words: viral videos, viral hooks.
Five years between two hits
Their bio says an early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY took them to new heights, and that five years and a whole lot of trouble followed before they signed to Only Raw Records, hoping lightning strikes twice. It is the most detailed biography Rockstar has given a supporting character.
What is still unknown
There is no confirmation that their tracks play on in-game radio, who performs them, or whether DWNPLY appears as a character. Rockstar names him once and never returns to him.
