Who's taking November 19 off? (or calling in "sick")

November 19 is a Thursday, and it's already made the business pages. José García Montalvo, an economics professor at Pompeu Fabra University, estimates that 1.5 million people in the US would skip work that day, mostly men aged 18 to 30 and tech workers, at a cost of about $1 billion (Metro, Bloomberg Línea). It's an estimate, not a survey, and NPR has already found people who've booked the day off.

On PS5 the game unlocks at local midnight (here's the time in each country), so the temptation is obvious: midnight, a couple of hours, then work on no sleep. Or just make it a long weekend.
