Florida has two: the brown pelican, which lives on the coast all year and fishes by diving headfirst into the water, and the American white pelican, which spends the winter there, is larger and fishes in groups from the surface without diving.
Clue
Over the coastal surf, flying in a line; the species is hard to tell.
Trivia
- It is one of the Leonida species Rockstar listed for Game Informer on September 29, 2026, as native Florida wildlife.
- Trailer 1 (0:12) shows a line of large birds over the sea; at that distance you cannot tell the species or confirm they are pelicans.
- Rockstar has not said whether it is the brown or the white pelican.
