Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell are real at the Miami Heat's arena: you can now eat GTA VI in Miami

The Kaseya Center opened the Heat's season with two GTA VI food stands, Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell, plus a Macca & Friends mural. The burgers are the arena's usual ones in Vice City wrapping, and the cheapest combo costs $28.50.

Status: Report. The stands exist and are selling food: attendees have shared photos, videos and receipts, and GameSpot, Insider Gaming and Beebom have covered it. Neither Rockstar nor the Heat has made an official announcement.

GTA's fast-food chains now exist outside the game. The Miami Heat opened their season on Wednesday, October 21, at the Kaseya Center against the Timberwolves, and inside the arena fans found two GTA VI-branded food stands: Burger Shot, the Burger King parody, and Cluckin' Bell, the KFC one.

What's inside the Kaseya Center

  • Burger Shot: a fully branded stand with the dripping burger logo, checkered floors and walls, and the "VI" logo on the central pillar. Staff wear Burger Shot shirts and caps, and food comes in branded wrapping. Next to it, a hedge wall carries the palm-tree "VI".
  • Cluckin' Bell: a second stand, serving fried chicken, shared by GTA 6 Countdown with photos by @luciacaminoss.
  • Macca & Friends: a large mural for the cartoon starring Macca, GTA VI's alligator mascot, alongside a manatee, a flamingo and a crab. The bottom line reads "Coming November 19 on Weazel": the show premieres on the game's TV on launch day. We'd already seen it advertised on Wynwood's kiosks.
  • Elevators: ads for Vice City FM, The Vault nightclub and Macca & Friends, according to GameSpot.

What's on the menu, and what it costs

It isn't new food. According to journalist Joel Franco, who bought a meal at the game, the Burger Shot burger is "essentially a Skinny Louie", the one the arena already sold, in GTA VI wrapping. The stand is the old Skinny Louie's, rebranded.

Prices are NBA-arena prices, as reported by GameSpot:

  • Cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink: $28.50 before tax, the cheapest option.
  • Applewood bacon burger combo: $31.
  • Cluckin' Bell: no prices published yet.

There's no sign of the game's over-the-top menu items either.

Is it Rockstar's?

Rockstar hasn't said anything, but everything points that way. The stand carries the official "VI" logo, the Kaseya Center has the Rockstar-paid "Welcome to Vice City" sign on its roof, and the Heat will play as Vice City on November 18, the night before launch, in a game organized with Rockstar (we covered it here).

What we don't know

  • How long they'll stay open: the whole season, or only until the Vice City game.
  • Whether you can visit without a game ticket. So far they've only been seen on game days.
  • Whether Burger Shot or Cluckin' Bell will appear outside the arena.

It's the latest piece of a campaign that has already filled Miami with in-game brands: ads on Wynwood's kiosks, Leonida cars on the streets and umbrellas on South Beach.
