Overview

Classic rock station with its own history in the GTA universe: born in Vice City, with mascot Jimmy the Vulture, first mentioned in Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City as the place where DJ Lazlow Jones started his career in the 1980s. It also existed as a purchasable jacket in GTA Online (Cunning Stunts update). Its tie to GTA VI is a clip on Rockstar's official site (rockstargames.com/VI) showing Jason Duval wearing a shirt with the redesigned V-Rock logo and updated mascot. That confirms the brand still exists in Leonida, but Rockstar has not said whether it will be a playable station or what will play on it. None of the 21 songs identified across the two trailers and An Extended Look has been assigned by Rockstar (or any reliable source) specifically to V-Rock. The only link remains Jason's shirt, not a song heard playing on that station.

Where it comes from
