A zoom prompt appears at the bottom right. They are an observation tool rather than a separate minigame: the video does not show what they are used for. The view fills the whole screen, with no minimap. Rockstar has not said whether they serve a specific purpose, so for now it is only confirmed that they exist and that you can zoom in.
