Rockstar announces NoPixel V, with a closed beta on September 8

What happened

Rockstar Games posted an official NoPixel V announcement on September 1. The studio says it is proud to support nopixel and confirms a closed beta on September 8, with invited players getting in through the Rockstar Games Launcher.

Rockstar describes GTA Roleplay as a community-run multiplayer version of Los Santos. It also mentions a rebuilt character creator, the Pixel Hotel & Casino, a six-block Cypress Flats rework, and more reactive pedestrians.

What is confirmed

Rockstar has confirmed:

• The official NoPixel V announcement.
• A closed beta on September 8 for invited players, through the launcher.
• Twitch Drops from September 8 to 30: up to GTA$1,500,000 and the Burger Shot Tracksuit in GTA Online.
• That this is still a GTA V roleplay project, not GTA VI.

NoPixel had already posted a trailer and notes on map, character and interface work. Those details now line up with Rockstar's post.

What we cannot say yet

The beta is invite-only. Rockstar mentions expanded access later, without a public date. There is still no open price, no public requirements list, and no complete systems breakdown.

GTA VI remains a separate release. The Newswire post does not put NoPixel V inside the next game.

Why it matters

Until this post, the Rockstar link was NoPixel's own claim. There is now a Rockstar announcement, a launcher path, and a GTA Online drop tied to the beta.
