The club that inspired NINE1NINE becomes GTA VI's: Flo Rida kicks off the party at E11EVEN Miami on November 6

Status: Report. Announced by E11EVEN Miami itself on Instagram as the grand opening of "NINE1NINE – Vice City", as part of GTA VI's campaign in the city. Rockstar hasn't posted anything about the event on its Newswire.

GTA VI's nightclub opens its doors in real life. E11EVEN Miami, the club NINE1NINE is based on, is transforming into the game's club, and the party kicks off on Friday, November 6 with Flo Rida live.

The event

• What: "NINE1NINE – Vice City", with a live set from Flo Rida, the Florida rapper behind "Low", "Whistle" and "Good Feeling".
• When: Friday, November 6, thirteen days before launch.
• Where: E11EVEN Miami, 29 NE 11th St, downtown Miami.
• Tickets: from $44.70, with tables also available. The club warns that only tickets bought on its own site or through Speakeasy, its ticketing partner, are valid (E11EVEN's calendar).
• Rules: 21+ with photo ID, and tickets only guarantee entry before 1 a.m.; latecomers pay the difference at the door. There's a dress code: no shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, caps or jerseys.

On the ticket page, E11EVEN bills it as "Vice City, welcome home!", the "IRL grand opening of NINE1NINE, Vice City's sexiest nightclub", with Flo Rida "in celebration of GTA6".

The club bills it as its "Grand Opening" as NINE1NINE, so it doesn't look like a one-off party: E11EVEN becomes the game's club from that night on. The poster already shows the facade dressed in a giant NINE1NINE banner and branded barriers at the entrance, with a blue-and-pink Ferrari Testarossa with neon underglow out front, very Vice City. It's unknown how long it will last or whether more artists will follow.

Why E11EVEN

It isn't just any club. E11EVEN is open 24 hours a few blocks from downtown Miami, and NINE1NINE, the club where Jason and Lucia dance in the trailers, is a direct nod to it (The Miami Guide). The name gives it away: 11 and 919.

This goes back a while. In the first trailer, in December 2023, a plane towed a "Nine1Nine: Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine" banner. The next day, E11EVEN flew its own reply: "When Nine 1 Nine = E11even" (Miami New Times). Back then its marketing director said he didn't know whether Rockstar had looked at the club (E11EVEN). Three years later, the club becomes NINE1NINE.

One more for Miami

It joins everything Rockstar has brought to the city this month: Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell at the Heat's arena, Pißwasser and Patriot beers, Vice Beach in Miami Beach from November 1, and the NINE1NINE banners already flown over South Beach.

What we don't know

• Whether there will be more NINE1NINE nights, and with which artists.
• Whether Rockstar will bring anything from the game to the party.
