Take-Two will report earnings on November 9, ten days before GTA VI
It's official: Take-Two will report on Monday, November 9, its last earnings before the game launches on the 19th. Here's what Rockstar did around past calls, and how much weight to give the new trailer talk.

Take-Two has a date for its next earnings report: Monday, November 9. It announced it today in a press release. It will be the last one before GTA VI launches ten days later, and social media has already decided it comes with a trailer. Nobody official has said that.
What happened
Take-Two will report its fiscal second quarter (July to September) after the New York market close. The investor call starts at 4:30 p.m. ET, which is 10:30 p.m. in Spain.
That week now looks like this:
- Monday the 9th: Take-Two results.
- Thursday the 12th: preloading opens for anyone who pre-ordered (IGN).
- Thursday the 19th: GTA VI launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (Rockstar).
What is confirmed
The date, the time and the period the results cover. The release doesn't mention GTA VI or any announcement, and Rockstar hasn't announced a trailer.
What Rockstar did around past earnings
The trailer theory leans on history. Rockstar tends to make a move near these dates, though not always with a video:
- November 8, 2023. Sam Houser announced the first trailer for December that same day (Reuters).
- May 15, 2025. The delay to 2026 came on May 2 and Trailer 2 on May 6, both before the results (Take-Two).
- November 6, 2025. The delay to November 19, 2026 was announced the same day (CNBC).
- May 21, 2026. No trailer; Take-Two kept the date (Reuters).
- August 7, 2026. The day before, Rockstar announced An Extended Look for the 27th (Rockstar).
We think a different precedent is more useful: the launch trailer. Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption 2's on October 18, 2018, the day preloading opened and eight days before launch (Windows Central). GTA V's "Official Trailer" arrived on August 29, 2013, nineteen days before release (Rockstar). If GTA VI follows that habit, the sensible window runs from November 9 to 12. That's our reading, not an announcement.
What we can't say yet
- That there will be a trailer, on that day or any other.
- That it will be called "Trailer 3". An Extended Look doesn't officially carry that name, and a launch trailer wouldn't have to either (we explain it here).
- That Take-Two will share pre-order numbers. In August it called them "exceptional" without giving figures (our report).
Why it matters
This is Take-Two's last investor call before the biggest launch in its history, three days before preloading. In November 2025 the delay landed at exactly one of these calls, so if anything were to change, this is where it would show up. If nothing does, it's one more confirmation of November 19. We're tracking the trailer question in this forum thread.
