The sign on the front reads "est. 1984", the window says "Open 7 Days" and a handwritten note on the door says there are no pancakes, only waffles. It had already appeared in Trailer 2 (1:37), when the couple talk inside an SUV parked in its lot.

Why it matches

A roadside waffle diner with a counter and booths, open every day: it recalls Waffle House, the Southern US waffle chain. It fits the Port Gellhorn of cheap motels and roads that Rockstar describes.

Trivia

  • In An Extended Look, the Bocamar Bridge shows in the background while Jason waits at the door (11:27), and the Easy Inn motel goes by as they flee (11:38).
  • On the way out, an eastbound Interstate 404 sign shows above the intersection.
