Status: Confirmed. Announced by Edge's own publisher on GamesRadar+. We'll update this page on Thursday with what the feature reveals.

Update, October 27: the first screenshots from Edge's preview are already circulating. They are low resolution and some may be retouched; we'll swap them for the originals when Edge publishes the feature on Thursday.

GTA VI is getting another big feature before launch, this time in the British press. Edge magazine has given the cover of issue 430, its Christmas special, to Rockstar's game, with a 16-page feature out on Thursday, October 29.

What's in it

• A visit to Rockstar: Edge's team went to Rockstar North's Edinburgh HQ, the studio leading GTA VI.
• Interviews with the studio's leadership. Edge hasn't said who it spoke to yet.
• The game in action: according to PC Gamer, Edge saw GTA VI running. It's unclear whether they played it or watched a demo.
• Exclusive imagery made for the magazine.
• A gatefold cover with the official artwork of Jason and Lucia by the red car.

Where to read it

The issue goes on sale Thursday, and that same day the full feature will be free to read on GamesRadar+, the publisher's website. As soon as it's out, we'll cover the highlights here.

If this sounds familiar, it's how Rockstar is rolling out information this final month: two weeks ago it opened the studio's doors to Bloomberg, which covered the eight years of development and two delays (our story).
