GTA VI on PC: what we know and when it could arrive
GTA VI is only announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. GamesBeat places the PC version between January and March 2027, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed it.
GamesBeat reports, citing four anonymous sources, that GTA VI would reach PC in the first quarter of 2027. Rockstar hasn't confirmed it (our story).
Short answer
As of October 13, 2026, GTA VI is only announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, on November 19. The official page has no PC listing, window or requirements. The most concrete thing out there is a GamesBeat report placing the PC version between January and March 2027.
Why it isn't on PC at launch
In May, Take-Two's Strauss Zelnick told Bloomberg that Rockstar starts on console because that's its core audience, and denied a Sony exclusivity deal (GameSpot, VGC). That's how it went with GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, which reached PC 7 to 19 months later.

- Neither does Take-Two's latest release table, from August 7 (Take-Two).
What has been reported but not confirmed
- October 13, GamesBeat report. Rockstar plans a PC release in the first quarter of 2027, according to four industry sources. No month or price (GamesBeat). It's the most solid claim so far, but it's still a report.
- September 4, VGC comment. Editor-in-chief Andy Robinson said on the podcast there was "a bit of noise" that PC could come sooner. No date, no sources. We track it in this thread.
- October, cloud streaming. The Verge reported you could play on PC through Xbox Cloud Gaming from day one. Xbox denied it the next day (our story).
Still unannounced

How to follow it
The real signal is a change on the GTA VI page, a Newswire post, or a Steam, Epic or Rockstar Launcher listing. The next chance to see something official is November 9, when Take-Two reports earnings: a PC release in the first quarter of 2027 falls inside its fiscal year (we explain it here).
