GTA 6's official cover art: Jason and Lucia at the center of the classic grid

June 18 kicked off the final stretch

Rockstar fired up the marketing machine on June 18, 2026: in a single day it announced the pre-order date (June 25), debuted an updated logo and revealed the official cover art of Grand Theft Auto VI for the first time.

What the cover shows

The artwork puts Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval at the center of the iconic grid design the series has used for decades. Around the duo, several scenes set the game's tone:

• A stunt rider launching a motorcycle mid-air.
• A police cruiser in hot pursuit.
• A helicopter with a mounted minigun dominating the skyline.

A 25-year tradition

The grid collage has been a Rockstar signature since GTA III (2001): every mainline entry has used this structure, and GTA VI keeps it — with the twist that, for the first time, a protagonist duo shares the center panel.
