It is run by the Leonida Department of Corrections, legible on the badge and the jumpsuit, and Stefanie Gates is its social worker. The first trailer opens inside, with Lucia being interviewed; in the second, Jason picks her up at reception and she walks out through the sally port between razor wire; and in the Launch Trailer the automated voice of a free call "from Lucia Caminos" plays on Jason's phone (0:12). It sits southwest of Vice City, near Hamlet.

Why it matches

A state prison in the south of the mainland, near the last town before the Keys, holding a woman inmate: it recalls Homestead Correctional Institution, the state women's prison in Florida City, next to Homestead.

Based on

Homestead Correctional Institution, Florida City, Florida
