It is seen at night from Interstate 404 in Trailer 1 (0:25), with purple and teal neon lines crossing its facade, next to an exit sign for Catalan Boulevard (0:24), and returns in An Extended Look (18:39). Its full name and its team, the Vice City Narcos, are legible in the official Vice City 08 screenshot: the "sahara arena" lettering on the facade and a big Narcos banner on the corner, with the Ferris wheel and the port cranes behind. For the player it is the clearest landmark downtown.

Why it matches

A basketball arena right downtown, by the bay and the freeway, home to the city's team: it recalls the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat. In Vice City the Heat become the Narcos.

Trivia

  • In that screenshot it shares the frame with the Galina Ballet Opera House, the Palaestra Tower and The Sumerian hotel.
