It debuted in the first trailer, with dirt bikers riding down a residential street (1:05), and in the second Jason drives past a mural with the neighborhood's name at the top (0:46). In the official Vice City 09 screenshot, the painted pillars under the viaduct carry letters of the name. A notice board in Trailer 2 (1:43) advertises two places in the neighborhood: the La Perle Caribbean Market and the Haitian-American Cultural Center.

Why it matches

It recalls Little Haiti: the Haitian neighborhood north of downtown Miami, with its Caribbean Marketplace and cultural complex, both of which have in-game counterparts. "La Perle des Antilles" is Haiti's nickname.

Trivia

  • Jeudy's Food Depot's sign is legible in the Trailer 1 shot.
  • The Conch King and Vetiver Minimarket from the music website are also in the neighborhood.
